It’s Fall, Y’all!

On a recent walk, I spotted leaves falling and it caught me a bit by surprise. I’m not sure why. It is September. Technically, it’s time. And yet, some days it feels like time stopped in March.

Nevertheless, here we are. Kids are back to school… whether virtually or in-person. Which has me wondering what lasting effects will our children feel from this time period. Probably too soon to tell.
Or is it?

The change of season has a way of putting things into perspective. For me fall represents cooler temps, less activity and more contemplation. What does fall stir inside of you? Other than a craving for Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL),
which apparently had its earliest release on record this year. Starbucks definitely knows the way to its customers hearts. Costco is already selling Christmas (causing quite the backlash). What a time to be alive.

Enjoy the falling leaves, take some time for yourself and find peace in knowing that this is not forever.
