The Intersection of Real Estate and Digital
◢
Is it still only January? Whew; one month in and it has already been quite the year. I hope this monthly edition of PRISM finds you well in spite of the many twists and turns that 2022 has already brought upon us.
I am excited to share our newest “Lens on KMG” video, spotlighting a valued KMG team member and the power of digital marketing & real estate. Tucker Pierce, KMG’s Chief Performance Officer joined us as a graphic designer and has steadily grown into a company leader, mentor and trusted partner to our clients. Tucker brings a unique blend of left and right brain thinking to her work. Rarely do I encounter someone as wildly talented yet humble as Tucker. I recently learned (not from her) that, in addition to growing up in the real estate business, Tucker’s Grandfather was a rocket scientist. Anyone who has worked with Tucker would tell you the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!
Our multidisciplinary, talented team of communicators is proud to work with visionary, inspiring and wildly successful clients in a range of industries and our real estate clients are no exception.
As I look ahead to 2022, I am still bullish. I look forward to finding ways to show up as my best for my team and clients. This includes leveling up my ability to communicate virtually (“Virtual IQ”, as described in this recent Fast Company article). The author argues that Virtual IQ is as important of a skill for leaders in 2022 as IQ & EQ. I believe it.
Take care of your heart in these especially challenging times. On this note, I’ll leave you with my latest obsession: Dr. Andrew Huberman. A tenured professor of neurobiology and ophthalmology at Stanford University School of Medicine, Dr. Huberman’s research and podcast covers topics from stress, focus, fear, and optimal performance. This podcast on the Science of Social Bonding is one of many that I think are worth a listen; his findings regarding social media and oxytocin are 💯.
Warmly,
Cabanne Howard
