We already knew STL shows up and shows out when it comes to sports but the recent launch of the St. Louis City SC broke nearly every expansion team record in the the history of Major League Soccer. Let’s break down why this is one for the history books.

St. Louis City SC has smashed nearly every Major League Soccer expansion team record from ticket to merchandise sales to social media engagement.
City SC is the very first women-owned Major League Soccer team!
CITYPARK’s 31-acre urban district is the nation’s largest urban sports campus and the only one to contain a team’s headquarters, training facility, practice fields, stadium and community space in one downtown location.
The team unveiled an “Our CITY” Sustainability Initiative which includes CITYPARK being a zero-waste stadium.

On top of the stats there are countless other ways that the team is partnering with and uplifting local businesses and the community. What a great example of how leadership, a unified voice and a bold agenda can drive economic growth.
