Get Comfortable Being Uncomfortable

Whew. And I thought May brought spring showers. That was just the beginning.

Just as the world was catching its breath post-pandemic, we have found ourselves squarely in another historic moment in time. A collective consciousness that we cannot ignore.

Vibrations are rising. People are standing up – even when it is uncomfortable – because the alternative is no longer tolerable. Through bold and honest exchange, I have witnessed humanity at its best (and worst). I believe that, amidst the noise, progress is being made. I am reminded often that discomfort is an important byproduct of change.

KMG has made a concerted effort to listen and will continue to do so. As a result of what we heard from our community, we extended our support to organizations who have been steadfast in their work to end systemic racism. Things are indeed more complex than they once seemed.
